If you are in the IT field, you might be under the impression that iPhone app development is easy. After all, if you have an advanced degree, developing your own iPhone app would be something that would look very good on your resume. However, you also need to consider the resources that you would have to put into the project in order for it to be impressive. The best iPhone apps are usually created by teams, not individuals. While you don’t necessarily have to put your dreams on hold, hiring an iPhone app development company can help you to put your best foot forward.

Consider doing everything that you can with your iPhone app and then hand it over to a team of professionals when you get stumped. You can still put your name down as co-author, but this will help you to avoid getting in over your head. It is better to have your iPhone application completed rather than to give up on it mid-way through. You can gain insight and learn exactly what it takes to build a functioning iPhone application. The best part is that you will be able to take a look at the coding and make changes without ruining the application.

If you have been seriously contemplating releasing an iPhone app, you need to take action. You might want to have an application developed for personal reasons, but you can still help to make a name for yourself in the industry by getting help from a professional team of app developers. Get feedback on your work, learn about the tools that are used to create award winning iPhone apps and take notes. Within a relatively short period of time you can have have a functional iPhone app listed in the iTunes store and available for immediate download.

For Apple, timing is everything. It may seem like this technology based company releases new products with no real rhyme or reason, but the powers that be at Apple have everything well planned out. Fans are waiting for the debut of both the iPad 3 and the iPhone 5, and all signs point towards a September release date. First, Apple unveiled the new iCloud service, which indicates that its next generation of products will come without storage devices. Although no one at the company will confirm or deny the rumors, several major phone carriers such as http://www.dialaphone.co.uk are believed to be currently testing out an iPhone 5 prototype, but you can also find Orange phones if you can’t wait until there is a definitive answer.

While the iPad 2 has been out for nearly a year, many believe that its predecessor will soon be released. The ultra popular device can’t exactly take the place of computers, but it is one of most innovative mobile electronics to ever be connected. Now that Verizon Wireless also offers the iPhone 4, many believe that AT&T’s monopoly is over. There will certainly be differences between the iPhone 5 with these mobile carriers, but it is already clear that cost won’t be one of them. Verizon Wireless recently discontinued its unlimited data plan, which means that their customers will have to pay a high cost every time they want to get on the web.

The iPhone 5 may not be released for another few months, but it is also possible that Apple has other plans. The company has never before released two products so close together in time, but with Apple, anything is possible. Some consumers might be forced to choose between purchasing the iPhone 5 and the iPad 3, considering the fact that these two electronics are worth more than $1,000 in total. In either case, this winter shopping season is going to be an exciting one for technology fans.

Although the courts have not made a final ruling, things are already looking good for Apple in its copyright infringement lawsuit against HTC. A few months ago, Apple filed suit against HTC because of similarities between its latest like of mobile phones and the Apple iPhone. Both companies have been in talks for quite some time, but Apple is not willing to back down. The International Trade Commission has decided that there are too many similarities between HTC’s new mobile phones and the iPhone for it to be a coincidence. Not only can Apple use the ITC ruling as evidence against HTC in court, it will also help the judge to see why Apple is so fired up in plain language.

A legal win against Apple will have major implications for the company, in more way than one. Although Apple just wants HTC to stop selling some of its most popular smart phones, HTC also manufacturers many of the electrical components that Apple uses to create the iPhone in the first place. It would take Apple a considerable amount of time to find an alternative supplier if HTC decided to stop doing business with the company. In other words, if Apple wins, HTC may opt to sever all ties with the technology giant.

If you want to get more information on mobile phone contracts online as well as the feud between Apple and HTC, look for a blog that is operated by a source with inside information. Technology experts may be able to explain legal jargon fairly well, but a news source that can talk to higher ups at HTC and Apple might be able to shed more light on the issues. It will likely be several months before the scrabble between Apple and HTC is settled, but Apple still plans on releasing all future products on schedule.

Most people assume that even free items come at a ‘price.’ With that said, it appears that companies such as Transpera are looking to cash in on the millions of iPhone users that download free apps. These iPhone users may expect to see a banner advertisement or two, but they are increasingly being subjected to full screen video ads that take up the entire screen - in other words, advertising networks are no longer giving users a choice as to whether they can ignore or skip over these ads.

Companies such as Transpera argue that they are helping consumers because they are displaying targeted ads, but users are complaining that they are literally taking over their smart phones. Most users of the Android don’t have as many complaints, but it seems that even previously downloaded apps are no longer safe. If some of your apps start to display alerts that indicate that a necessary update is available, there’s a good chance that the developers are just looking to inject more intrusive advertisements. One way to get around this issue is to simply download the paid version of the app, but most users would rather get the same apps for free, especially if they are not sure if it is worth the investment. In the end, it appears that Apple is going to have to come up with a way to keep their customers from being attacked with ads, especially if they don’t want to give their customers another reason why the Android is a better smart phone.

Verizon has long awaited the day that they would be able to sell the iPhone 4, but even analysts are shocked at the number of units that the company will likely sell in 2011 alone. Consumers love having options, and now that they can choose between two of the biggest cell phone carriers in the US, Apple and Verizon can expect to start signing a great deal of bonus checks. With the pre-orders rolling in, Verizon expects to sell over 25 million iPhones in less than a year. If you consider the fact that there are 300 million people currently living in the United States, that means that over 10% of the total population will become new Verizon Wireless customers - all because of the iPhone. Of course, this does not take into consideration that a large portion of Verizon’s new customers will be coming directly from AT&T, but it does indicate that all of the other cell phone carriers will need to work hard in order to remain competitive.

All in all, Verizon could be the biggest thing to happen to the iPhone since rumors of the white version - which has never officially been released. Since Verizon will likely sell the iPhone 5 when it comes out, AT&T will need to lower their pricing plan if they hope to retain the majority of their customers. Many iPhone owners have complained about hidden fees and price gouging with AT&T, and while they were able to get away with it in the past Verizon is looking to cash in on their shortcomings.

In the past 911 dispatchers had to spend a lot of precious time pinpointing the location of their mobile users. More often than not, emergency response teams were seriously delayed because they were given the wrong address. GPS technology helped to solve a lot of these issues, but knowledge of proper CPR procedures are still a big issue. This is the reason that the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District has released an iPhone app that will measure the caller’s knowledge of CPR and then accurately report the data back to the 911 dispatcher. Emergencies can happen anywhere, which is why safety experts say that it is essential to have access to a cell phone. If you can give an approximately location and you are able to describe the nature of the emergency then police, firefights or an ambulance can be called.

The app, called ‘Fire Department,’ will give callers the ability to administer CPR while a nearby 911 dispatcher is immediately alerted. This means that precious minutes are saved as the caller won’t be required to talk to a dispatcher at all. While the app works to relay the exact coordinates of the emergency scene, the caller can assist the injured party until a first responder is able to arrive. Not only will this app potentially save lives, it will also help 911 dispatchers to do their jobs more effectively. Speaking to a dispatcher may help callers feel more confident, but when time is of the essence every second counts.

In today’s world, there are many variations of what people once did to entertain themselves. For instance, there was a time when kids would imagine they could make their toy robots move on command. Then came the next phase in which children could actually make those robots move on command via a wired controller. More recently, that idea was taken to the next level to allow those same robots to be controlled wirelessly. Now we move into a whole new variation of that same idea, the Tankbot: An iPhone and iPod Touch controlled robot.
There is a new fad in creating the best and most intriguing iPhone and iPod touch accessories to corner market shares. The Tankbot is the latest development in this war. The Tankbot created by Deskpets is a remote controlled toy robot that allows you to control it via an iPhone, or an iPod touch, and even an iPad. This newest toy to be developed has treaded wheels for increased grip on various surfaces. Although the technology to use iDevices as a remote is not a new idea, Deskpets does have a new way to control its device. It downloads an app via a dongle that plugs directly into the device. Once downloaded, the device can use its built in accelerometer to completely navigate the Tankbot. The Tankbot will be able to charge via USB cable in about 30 minutes and will provide about 15 minutes of run time. This is a great function since most people don’t like to buy batteries and will not use the device all the time. Another added feature is that is has infrared sensors which allows it to navigate freely, avoiding obstacles and such. The Tankbot is said to retail for roughly $20 and be available in multiple colors and frequencies.

After Jessie McSweeney got a ride home from what she thought were two good Samaritans she learned that there was more to them than what met the eye. After a night out on the town during New Year’s Eve, McSweeney, her boyfriend and a friend found themselves all but stranded in the rain. They walked to a main road and a driver pulled over and offered them a ride. McSweeney and her companions got to their destination safe and sound, but she soon learned that she left her iPhone in the generous driver’s car. And that’s when the trouble began. Having saved her email and Facebook passwords on her iPhone, the devious driver and his friend started to terrorize McSweeney. First, they went though her list of contacts and started to send lewd text messages. Next, they sent out emails that not only threatened bodily harm, but also disparaged the 23 year old victim’s name. Thankfully, McSweeney was able to change her passwords and notify her friends and family of what had happened, but by then the damage had been done.

Even McSweeney’s grandmother was harassed. The thieves originally made contact with McSweeney and told her that they would drop off her iPhone at a police station, but they decided to play a horrible prank instead. They even logged into her Facebook account and made disparaging comments on her friends’ pages. Jessie McSweeney was able to contact her cell phone carrier in order to have her service suspended, but so far it looks like the crooks will get away with their crimes. McSweeney is more than thankful that she was able to get home safely, but she is now worried about having more of her private information compromised. Since these two mean spirited criminals have broken several federal laws, perhaps the authorities will be able to pinpoint their location and bring them to justice.

Peel Technologies has just unveiled a small hardware accessory that turns the smart phone into a universal remote control. While it is not as convenient as an app, iPhone lovers will be happy to use their smart phones for almost everything imaginable. Most people know what it feels like to lose the remote control and be forced to manually operate their televisions and home entertainment systems. Although most of us should probably get off of the couch a little more anyways, the convenience that a remote control brings has made it almost unthinkable to be able to live without one. Although the new piece of hardware probably won’t be out in time for Christmas, most people wouldn’t be able to get one anyways. The company plans to sell the iPhone remote control adapter exclusively on their website, but there won’t be a retail price. The plan is to actually auction of a small amount of units. Maybe Peel Technologies just wants to see how much they can get for a single unit, but the unorthodox plan has left many with raised eyebrows.
The new iPhone remote control hardware comes from the same person that is responsible for creating the Bluetooth Jawbone headset, so it is almost certain that this technology is being built to last. While most people won’t be happy when they learn that they can’t simply buy it, it can be used with the iPod, iPad and iPhone running the iOS operating system. The idea for an iPhone that will double as a remote is great, but the company’s business plan leaves a lot to be desired.

Apple has been getting everyone ready for the release of the iPhone 5 by dropping tid-bits of information every now and then. The latest news doesn’t come directly from spokespersons from Apple, but someone that is reportedly very close to their operations department has let European cell phone carriers know that the rumors about Apple integrating sims cards into the iPhone 5 simple aren’t true. Much like their contract with AT&T, there are only a few select European cellular services that can support iPhones. If the iPhone 5 were to feature sims cards, customers may be able to change carriers on a whim, at least in Europe. While the thought of losing customers to another carrier frightened European cellular providers, the mere idea of Apple opening their own cellular provider services was even more horrific. Before the rumors could be substantiated, European iPhone carriers stated that they would outright refuse to do the same level of business with Apple. Not that Apple wouldn’t have any problem finding new European carriers, the event would have made it much more difficult for customers to have reliable service, and many of them would have ended up paying the full $600 ticket price for the iPhone 5.

For other cell phone manufacturers, sims cards are still big business. Since some customers would rather have a cell phone that they can carry, kick and leave around, being able to switch to new cell phone carriers at will is still very important for them. Apple could always change their minds at the last mind, but since Steve Wozniak, co-found of Apple, has recently raised concerns over the growing popularity of the Android brand, they probably won’t press their luck.
